How Does the Plexus Pink Drink Work?

Plexus Slim DrinkPlexus Slim is one of the first products developed by PlexusWorldwide. You may have heard of this referred to as the pink drink. Simply mix one Plexus Slim packet in a bottle of water and drink once a day. The drink tastes a bit like a cherry tootsie pop. So what can a little packet of pink do for you? Why would something like this work?

Chromium as in Chromium Polynicotinate is the one of the main ingredients in the Plexus Slim drink. Chromium is one of the most common elements found in the earth’s crust and in seawater. There have been many studies on the effects of Chromium and blood sugars. These studies can be traced back to the 1950’s which it was suggested that Brewer’s Yeast, which contains small amounts of Chromium, could prevent diabetes in experimental animals.

Since then, scientists have been doing studies on Chromium and diabetes. There have been several studies that have proven that supplementation with Chromium can help stabilize blood sugars. Those who have Type 2 diabetes found that after taking Chromium supplements their Hb1C levels were lower.

It is important to know that the Chromium found in Plexus Slim is Chromium Polynicotinate.  Most Chromium supplements will be in the form of Chromium picolinate. While these may work, they are not as effective as Chromium polynicotinate, which is a niacin bound Chromium. The scientists behind the development of Plexus Slim knew that studies show Chromium that is bound with niacin is absorbed better and is more efficient.

So scientists have proven that Chromium aids in glucose control and insulin resistance in the body. What happens when you get your blood sugars under control? You lose weight, you stop craving sugar and you feel 100% better. That is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to what Plexus Slim may do for you.
